AUDITING

The symbol AU identifi es those instances where a student enrolled in a course for purposes not requiring credit. An auditor must have the permission of the instructor, and may enroll only after students otherwise eligible to enroll in the course for credit have done so. Auditors pay the same fees as credit students; regular class attendance is expected. Once enrolled as an auditor, a student may not change to credit after the last day to add classes. A student enrolled for credit may not change to audit after the deadline published on the inside cover of this registration guide. An auditor does not take examinations in the course; therefore, there is no basis for evaluation nor a formal grade report.
