Diploma FAQs


 

HOW DO I GET MY DIPLOMA?
We mail diplomas to the mailing address on file. You can view and update your mailing address through the Profile tile on your Student Homepage.

WHEN DO I GET MY DIPLOMA?
Most undergraduates receive their diplomas 4-6 weeks after the official graduation date for the term and most graduates receive their diplomas 8-10 weeks after the official graduation date.

WHAT IS ON MY DIPLOMA?
Your diploma will include your name, degree(s), major(s), concentration(s) (effective Spring 2023), minor(s) and honors.

The full Student Name (first, middle, last) listed on your unofficial transcript will be printed on your diploma. If you need to make any changes, e.g. correct a misspelling or add a middle name, submit a name change request with documentation here: http://records.fullerton.edu/services/securedocs.php

Effective Fall 2023, you may choose to use preferred name or make an appropriate changes to your FIRST name on the diploma, please follow the instructions below Updating Diploma Name | Employee Training Center (ETC) | IT Knowledge Base (screenstepslive.com). Note that the last name must match your university records.

Undergraduate Students who complete multiple concurrent degrees (BA and  BS) and/or majors will receive one diploma with all degrees and majors listed.

MY DIPLOMA IS ON HOLD, WHAT NOW?
Contact the department that placed the hold to resolve the issue. After the hold is removed, contact the graduation unit gradunit@fullerton.edu with your name, CWID and current mailing address and your diploma will be released with the next diploma order.
