Major / Minor Form
If you are declaring your first major and were previously undecided, changing your concentration or emphases, or adding your first minor, these require no fee. For all other changes of majors and minors, the $10 charge will be added to your CSUF account to be paid within two weeks.
Please note: Newly admitted students have until May 1 to change their majors through admissions. After May 1, newly admitted students must wait until the first day of the Fall semester to request a change of major.
This is a form for active students to be able to add, remove, or change their major, minor, concentration, or certificates. Students who cannot find their major, minor, or concentration, or students who need to declare or change an emphasis will still need to use the fillable PDF, linked below.
Before submitting a Major Change Request, check with the academic department. You may be required advising before being approved into the major.
Non-Business majors wishing to major in business, international business, or economics must first meet with a business advisor.
